About

Anna was born and raised on a chicken farm in Eastern Ohio.

The previous statement, it turns out, is a complete fabrication, but Anna’s father, who actually was raised on a chicken farm in Eastern Ohio, consistently told Anna that this would be an excellent way to start a story whenever she’d come to him complaining of writer’s block.

In reality, Anna was born in Chicago and, as an Army brat, raised everywhere, where she resides to this day.  As a traveling pediatric oncology nurse, Anna comes equipped with a Honda Fit capable of holding all of her belongings and the desire to fill hospital staffing needs across the country at a moment’s notice.  She also carries a large digital camera and some sort of knitting project, so as to be able to quickly document and insulate anyone she meets along the way.

If you enjoy the pictures or the knit objects or the pictures of knit objects you run across as you read, don’t despair. You can have some too. Just drop Anna a line anywhere on this website. Our apologies, but all messages sent to the chicken farm will be returned unopened and most likely covered in feathers.
